Graceful Living Teaching Institute was established with the simple belief that becoming an exceptional assisted-living manager requires more than completing a target requirement. It requires knowledge, sound, judgment, practical wisdom, confidence, and leadership.

Our mission is to prepare assisted-living professionals, not only to understand the responsibilities of their role, but to lead with competence, integrity and a genuine commitment to excellent senior care.

Our training brings together regulatory knowledge, real world assisted living experience, practical application, and case study discussions in leadership development. We want students to understand not simply what is required, but why it matters and how to apply it when faced with the everyday decisions and challenges of operating an assisted living program.

Graceful Living Teaching Institute was founded by Ken Cooper RN a senior care professional with approximately 30 years of experience in assisted living senior care. His experience includes assisted-living management and ownership, clinical management, staff development, resident care, regulatory compliance, and embracing the day-to-day operational challenges of providing quality care while maintaining a thriving organization.

That experience has shaped the philosophy behind Graceful Living Teaching Institute.
